EasyWay can be used for Access Control applications effectively. Contact-less RF (Proximity) / Magnetic / Barcode technology is recommended in high security requirements, as the cards are absolutely secure and very difficult to reproduce or copy. The function of Access Control is to limit or control the entry of people within certain premises or room.

For Access control application, various configurations are available.

Master – slave where multiple slaves can be connected to a master unit and Master is connected to computer. Master Recorder can be installed at entry and the slaves at the gate where access control is required. A person first punches in the Master and then in a slave to get entry to restricted premises. If he/she does not punch in the Master than slave will not accept the punch and entry will be denied. This ensures entry into restricted area only after one punches in master i.e. for attendance.

Stand-alone readers can also be used for Access control, these readers can be networked and connected to a computer. In this case separate reader can be used for Attendance Recording.

Simple Access control unit can also be used with option of having only reader or reader & keypad. Keypad is for entering Personal Index Number (PIN). These readers can be networked and connected to a computer. The card nos. are down loaded to respective reader(s) where the access is allowed. No MIS Software.

 LOCKING MECHANISMS

There are a host of locking mechanisms available in the market, which can be connected to the EasyWay Access Control System. The decision as to the selection of the locking mechanism will be made by our engineers on studying all the Access Control locking mechanism on studying all the Access Control parameters of the premises. Lock can be kept open in case of power failure.
